There are 25,230 works in the Whitney’s collection which are accessible online. Some works are familiar, such as Edward Hopper’s Early Sunday Morning; some are more recent works from emerging artists such as Calvin Marcus, Janiva Ellis, and Erin Jane Nelson. During this live event, curatorial liaison Laura Phipps will provide an enlightening look at a selection of works from the collection.

A Q&A will follow each work’s discussion, and attendees are welcome to bring their choice of refreshment.
