Nicholas Nixon


Nicholas Nixon (born October 27, 1947) is an American photographer, known for his work in portraiture and documentary photography, and for using the 8×10 inch view camera.

Born October 1947. Nixon worked as an architectural photographer in Detroit, Michigan from 1970 to 1971 and then as a freelance photographer in Cambridge, Massachusetts since 1974. From 1977 to 1982, Nixon documented the life and people along the Charles River, Massachusetts.
