Immigrant Justice Night

The Whitney will host an evening of resource-sharing, gallery tours, and artmaking dedicated to immigrant and undocumented communities. The event is held in association with the Museum’s community partners, including The Door, People’s Theatre Project, and the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. Youth, families, teachers, and community members have the opportunity to hear directly from 2022 Biennial artist Rayyane Tabet, and learn more about his artwork 100 Civics Questions (2022), which is centered around the United States naturalization exam.
El Whitney invita a participar a jóvenes, familias, maestros y miembros de la comunidad a una noche de intercambio con Rayyane Tabet, artista de la Biennal 2022 con la obra 100 preguntas de civismo (2022) centrada en el examen de naturalización de los Estados Unidos. Este programa incluye recorridos por la galerías y creación de arte, dedicados a las comunidades de inmigrantes e indocumentados. The Susan and John Hess Family Theater is equipped with an induction loop and infrared assistive listening system. Accessible seating is available.
Face coverings are required to attend this event. All attendees ages two and older must wear face coverings that cover the nose and mouth.
